1995 5.8 with cali emissions AIRD where's AIRB hook up?

The ecu only has a TAD control. Did they use a combination AIRB/AIRB valve? If so what is the number ?

Yes the later trucks used a combo valve so that second connection doesn't go to anything.

What controls the signal for the bypass on these combo valves? Im doing away with the mech smog pump and using a LT1 electric and putting another altenator where the old pump was. So all i need is a on and off signal. This would be simple with the 2 solonoid systems

If you are deleting the air pump then all the plumbing and valves can go too as they server no purpose.

I'm not deleting smog pump replacing it with electric one. I found a combo valve but it still has 2 vacuum attachments but nothing to signal it because that signal can only come from the computer. Therefore it must run continually and not bypass. The electric smog pump looks to be 2 speed low/high So wiring up a switch today The only way to tell the air to dump or go to engine is the computer there is no other way to signal it. Going to talk with some car audio folks tomorrow about turning the electric pump on only while engine is running might put a adjustable rpm switch to control both speeds. The egr is also different on them with a delta pressure sensor in them, them are dealer only item and gettem while you can on them. I have studied and studied the TAB function and it has to be computer controlled therefore the only conclusion is it pumps all the time just how much I have yet to figure out. Do you know if they went to a different thermactor pump with less or more volume?

The VECI told the tail the tad and tab are just tied together nothing going back to cats No combo valve let's put that myth to rest
