$1,000 Loyalty Rebate on some '04 F-150s
 

Ford announced today a $1,000 loyalty rebate on the new 2004 F-150 regular cab and super cab models. Show proof that you own a 1997 or newer F-150, and you get a grand. No need to trade in your current vehicle- you just have to prove you own one, or someone within your household.

What about the 04 supercrew? Where did you here this from?

Does me no good. I have a '94. The '97-'03 body style never grew on me and I've been waiting for the '04 to return to a more "boxy" truck style. They did that and the interior looks better as well.

$1K ain't going to get it as far as I'm concerned. GM offers TWICE this much on their new 04' Silverado/Sierra. With Titan forthcoming the market is getting even more competitive. We'll see how Ford handles all this. I see no less than 21 NEW model 04 F-150's at my local Ford dealer. They have sold only 1. But many 04' sales are being "stolen" do to the high rebate on the remaing 03's.

Artsbest, $1k or $2k aint going to get it as far as i am concerned either. GM will have to offer quadruple rebates to get me in a chevvie. In addition to the fat GM rebates, I have several thousand available on my 5% GM rebate credit card. I want to use those GM rebates but i can not bring myself to buy one of the current GM pickup offerings. Detroit News (internet newspaper) site says Ford is selling the 04's on average 6 days after arrival which is a Red Hot sales rate. I think GM would like it anyway because i roll past a GM dealer on my way to work and they have more than 100 2004 chevvies on the lot. Just 21 2004 fords is small potatoes by comparison.
