heater box blend door question

I just replaced my fan, heater core and control levers on my 78 f250. I think I might have put the wrong cables on the wrong posts on the controller. I need to know which lever controls which door on the heater box. Does the top lever control the door on the passenger side or the door in the center of the dash?

So if I'm reading it right, the cable for the temp control is the one furthest to the passenger side.?

Yes. That damper controls the amount of outside air introduced into the system. The damper in the center directs the air either to the defrost or floor vents.

Makes sense since the blend door is next to the fresh air vent. I couldn't get the levers to move all the way to the right so I thought I had them mixed up. I went ahead and ordered a set of new ones and hope that gets everything working like new. Now that the snow is gone and I don't need the truck for a while I'm tearing in to the whole dash and redoing everything so it all works correctly. Then on to the cooling system because she runs really hot in the summer.
