door seals
Hello,
I have a 1960 ford panel truck , Where is a good place to buy front and rear door seals from? I bought seals from macs years ago and put them on the truck , You could not slam the doors shut. The rubbers were no match for what I took off.At all the curves were very hard moulded rubber . You could not even squeeze them. I had to grind the moulded rubber with a die grinder to them to shut. The doors stick out a half inch all the way around the door. They were good before. Some one said soft seals were good seals but I cant find them. Thanks All for any help. |
I had good luck with Dennis Carpenter seals myself.

Thanks guys, you know how hard it is to blast the doors and primer then paint. Then when you put it all back together and it don't work, you blow a head gasket. Knowing you have to do it again. Thanks Again.

I’ll agree, Dennis Carpenter Hands down. LMC sent me the wrong door rubbers twice (mounded wrong) and Dennis Carpenter was bang on first go, the rubber was softer and better quality. |

Hello All,
Thank you for all the input on the doors seals. Just got my doors seals from DC. What a big difference in the quality. Really impressed. |
