Rare Colors/Options?

Does anyone have a listing of rare colors and options for the Excursion?
Things to keep on the lookout for when scrounging around the scrapyard?

I'm not too fond of my Black Excursion. It's always hotter than hell in the summertime.
However it seems every 2000 Excursion on CraigsList is Black.

I originally wanted Toreador Red with a Medium Flint Interior... But it seems Flint interiors are rare as hen's teeth anyhow. (I guess Flint Interiors are not as rare as the BLUE Interiors. Yes, there was a Blue option for a couple of years.)
I liked the Toreador Red because my old Cummins truck was a similar color. (Dark Garnet Red with a Agate interior.

I'm kinda going for the whole Government Fleet vehicle look, so I'm now on the lookout for a Silver Metallic colored Excursion.
It seems that this color is rare as well.

I have seen the fewest Medium Steel Excursions since they came out, In fact I can only recall ever seeing one in person back when they were still new on the dealer lots and I wanted that color, have never seen one for sale used.

I've seen a few Medium Steel Excursions around. I know in 05 and maybe more years the was a Gold metallic color.

Dang. I guess I have “Fire red clear coat metallic” instead of Torreador Red on my 2003. I’ll have to check the paint code. Almost a cooler name though...almost.

Here is good reference material, I got a copy of this from my dealer.
Navigation was an offered accessory for the Excursion too.

No wonder I never see Medium Steel Blue or Silver ones... They're XLT only AND only available with Flint (grey) or Denim (blue) interiors.

Looks like I'm gonna keep the black one and just go with the whole Secret Service vehicle look.

I would love to find a Medium steel XLT with the rubber mat interior instead of carpet. it would be easy enough to
recover the seats in what ever leather you like using www.theseatshop.com

difference between an XLT and the Limited is basically leather seats and some plastic emblems....easy fix }>

And, at least in the later years, you could get leather in an XLT. If looking at government fleet rigs with rubber floors you have to see if they have rear HVAC as some of the SSV (Special Service Vehicles) sold into fleets didn't come with the third seat option or the rear HVAC. My EX was an Army Corpse of Engineers fleet wagon originally but it has the cloth interior with carpets, rear HVAC and third row seating, it's Aspen Green with grey cloth interior.

Leather and the comfort and convenience group were offered in my 2001 XLT, not sure if I have a 2001 Brochure or not,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I actually do.

Cool brochure, and how can we forget the most desirable option of both models, rear captains !

anybody still have their dealer perks from when they bought theirs new ?
My brother still has his folding lawn chairs with stuff sack. I seem to recall they have Eddie Bower stitched on the backs ??

I never realized there were two flavors of green for 2001, till looked at this brochure.
