Spring G2G Planning Thread

Good morning, Arkansas. I would like to plan a spring g2g starting now. I'm thinking we could try to meet at a public place somewhere that is convenient to everyone. Maybe a spot with some grills so we can all bring some burgers and dogs to cook. I'd like to do a group photo as well, so somewhere that we could put the trucks together for that.

I'm open to suggestions. I'm located 30 minutes outside of Little Rock.

For what its worth, from the house to Mountain Home is about 40 min. 20-25 mile.

Cool. We need to get a few more to respond so we can begin planning something.

Based on responses from other parts of this forum, I wouldn't count on it.

Doesn't seem to be many of the long term members still around, I for one seldom check in here.

I know what you mean. Seems like everyone just faded away.

I think social media has played a big role in people moving away from message boards. It isnt necessary just this one, I'm seeing it on multiple types of message boards.

smle 02-12-2019 07:36 AM

I agree. Just doesn't work for those of who don't do social media.

RazorbackF150 02-12-2019 08:56 AM

it's a catch 22, really. Got some who only want to use social media, some who only want to use message boards. A lot gets lost between the two, and I've got to figure out a happy medium if we are going to make this chapter relevant again.

Well we are still on here and I might be available date dependent. I'm in the Conway Area.

I'd be down. I'm in Benton County. I'd enjoy meeting somewhere along 412, Devil's Den, the Buffalo River, or along the pig trail. Anybody been to the Ozark Cafe in Jasper? Eureka Springs is also good. If you're coming my way I like Wesner's grill in Roger's, but there's not a lot of parking. I've been known to stray as far as Mena or Texarkana on occasion. What's a neat southern spot that most people don't know about?

I've spotted more than a few dents where I am. Dunno if they are members here or on Facebook. I'm part of this one on Facebook and it's about 32,000 or so members.

I'll post something if a time and date are set.

Bentonville also puts on cars and coffee the first Sunday of every month. I think a row of classic ford pickups would be awesome.
