Hello all,

It has been a little over a year with my truck and I am beginning to see the costs associated with upgrading this truck to where I want it to be (500+RWHP). It is a 1997 F250 HD with ZF-5 Transmission, with 4in lift and stacks, mostly stock otherwise. I plan to do most of this work by myself because as I see this is already ridiculously expensive. Since you seem to be going all out

Get a King pin Dana 60 Front Axle and if possible https://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-13...r-arm-kit.html

Aluminum intake plenums
Bellowed Up pipes
deleted pedestal
pitman drop
New oil jets
new oil rail plugs

Add this to rear and maybe front too

The T4 should come with new up pipes and pedestal.

I would add the plenums. Why do you have a valve body listed? I thought you had a manual. I see the built rear bumper. I would probably add a new front bumper as well. If you are planning for these numbers I would like to ask to see if you have done a compression test and what the miles are on that motor. You are going to be pushing some strong power through the motor. Just make sure the mill is healthy enough to tolerate it

Yeah I will be looking at Kingpin, thanks for the other tips as well.

Second, yeah it my jumble of notes must of listed that by mistake. I do have a manual. 151,000 miles on the original engine and trans, seems healthy and have had zero issues. No blow back too which is nice.

Pull the engine when you do this build up, have a head job done on the heads.

You will need a good efuel system to feed those injectors.

Do not forget fluids and miscellaneous **** we always forget. $2000. May as well get the Midwest Trans short throw shifter while trans is out.

Fluidampr and Melling LPOP. How about fresh Motorcraft idlers and tensioner with belt? Rebuild the PS pump as it probably leaks and maybe a steering box while the axle is out. SD or Denso starter. Fresh battery cables. Take alternator to local shop for bearings at least. Consider that Moroso oil pan while engine out.

$1800 is a spendy stereo. Shop smarter man. You need a good HU with 4V preouts, look at old five channel amps. One good sub is all you need as opposed to two mediocre units.

Buy a bumper from MOVE and build it yourself. A 110V MIG will do it with multiple passes.

Whenever I build something it goes way over projected budget. I dont know if it's just me, but I'd add 25% on top of that for the unknown. Trust me, it happens. I build a lot of chit.
