Where is Vin Number Stamped into Frame of 2003 Ford F150 Crewcab
 

Hi there

I am in Gold Coast Australia - I have a 2003 Ford F150 4 Door Crewcab Harley Davidson Edition - I had to Ute (Truck) inspected today and they required to site the Vin Number Stamped into the Chassis - it has the correct Vin Numbers in the Windshield Area and Door Sticker and Even Compliance Plate on the Firewall but Local Authorities require the Frame/ Chassis to be Stamped with Vin # as well - can anyone please tell me where I will find this on my Truck - or Did Ford Not Stamp the Frame with a Vin # in USA on Ford F150 Trucks

and if this is the case can you send me some Documentation to that Fact - I am sure they must have stamped them somewhere - but truck is 15 Years Old and Chassis covered in 15 Years on Underseal and Road Dirt etc - if you can please narrow down my search please - Email me on mattfmwf@yahoo.com

As you face the vehicle, try the left frame rail, on top, near or just aft of the suspension. Might be stamped there and under the cab on the same side.
