F-550 V-10 exhaust manifold failures

I had posted in the pre 2017 forum .... A good friend of mine has a 2016 F-550 v-10 with 8000 miles on it and has two leaking exhaust manifolds.
Broken studs.
Is this a common problem? Once repaired, how often does a repeat occur?

Very common, but not with so few miles. Most people choose to replace them with higher quality studs in hopes of avoiding a future repair. It's possible on the newer engines Ford has attempted to correct this problem, but somehow made it worse.

i agree with this guy.
I’ve been active on this forum for 5 years. Everyone has broken studs but I’ve never seen a report of stud problems with something so new.
