Understand Freeze Frame Data
Could someone analyze my freeze frame data as to I don’t lnow what I’m looking at. Having problems with my 05 f150 xlt with 187,000 miles stumbling around 40 -55 mph. No codes are showing up. So maybe someone could look at my data and see if anything looks out ordinary. someone can tell you a lot more than me, but the 5-6-7-8 readings are Short term fuel trim ( bank 1 or 2) and long term fuel trim ( bank 1 or 2)... what I see is the long term trim on one side is 10.9% while the other side is -7.8% ........ these are not excessive, but not similar values. I think a positive value leads one to believe that an injector is plugged so the computer is trying to put in extra fuel to compensate... I think a negative number means the injectors is leaking so the computer is trying to compensate by cutting back on the fuel. Depending how you drive, I would think both sides would be somewhat negative, or both would be somewhat positive. Since they are opposites, I think it might be saying you have a sticky or leaking injector on one side. Are the injectors original ? Is this a 4.6 or 5.4 ?

I’m assuming the injector are factory as I’ve only had the truck for 7 months. 5.4 engine. |
