UGH!!! Some lady just backed into my week old F250!!!

Went to Walmart, parked in handicap for my girl who just had knee reconstruction surgery. I get out to walk around and get my girl out and...
Lady in spot right behind me in a long bed chevy 2500 backs up and hits my truck at the passenger side bumper. I go up to her window and I yell, you just hit my truck. She says, I know and pulls forward.... backs up and hits it again!! OmG. When this happens it jars my girlfriend forward and tweaks her knee. She is hurting..

WTF?
Pushed my bumper in about 1/4". Scarred my parking sensor.
I get her info and she said she will call her insurance when she gets home.

2 hours later I call her and she says she started a claim but has no claim number and doesnt remember who she talked to.
I call her insurance and she did Not file a claim. She lied.

So I started a claim with her insurance.

sometimes people suck!

I stay far the hell away from WallyWorld, those are not our best and our brightest people. Sounds like you might just need a new bumper, but double check the bedsides where the bumper meets the bed, if its wrinkled at all, you're in for some pain.

Sorry to hear it man.

Bad day for sure- good thing you followed up on it. Wal-mart on a Friday is to be avoided at ALL costs. Sorry to hear you got tagged. I always park in the "next county" at those places and go for the hike- the way people drive these days is beyond comprehension. Adding insult to injury she did it with a Chevy!

I'm headed to Ford in the a.m. to get an estimate.

It's only bent in a little, but it will never be the same.

I feel your pain. I'm still dealing with my out of commission F250 so I know first hand the WTF!

My buddy with his four week old F250 got rear ended at 70 mph. Dude who hit him fell asleep. Jacked his bumper up too, comes in three pieces, looks brand new!

Lucky that you were there. You KNOW that would have been a drive away.

If he got rear ended at 70 mph there would be more than a bumper jacked up . . . . .

Not necessarily...i interpreted it as the guy that got rear ended was going 70mph when he got rear ended by somebody who fell asleep driving behind him (who could have been going 85 for instance, thus a net 15mph impact). Need clarification to know what he really meant!!

Yup, if wasnt there that lady would have driven off.

my girlfriend was waiting in the truck so I could help her out into her wheel chair. Luckily she is a city cop traffic investigator and knows all the right pics to take and info to gather.
the lady has progressive platinum insurance. Not sure what that means but I hope they dont try to jack me around.

That is a very unfair and uninformed comment. After surgery many people have a temporary handicapped parking pass. SMH.....:(
