Cab Mount Bushings
I am in the middle of replacing the cab mounts (using the DC mounts, nice stuff) and bushings on my 1970 250. I ordered the Energy Suspension poly bushings but they shipped the 4wd instead of the 2wd. Anyone know what the difference is? I used the search and can across one thread that said they are the same but no additional confirmation. I'm getting ready to return them but am curious.
P.S. someday I will update my build thread |

The front upper/lower bushings are the same: 1967/72 F100/250 2WD/4WD & F350. The rear upper/lower bushings are not the same. F100/250 2WD different than F100/250 4WD & F350. |

Sorry to jump in but I have the cab off my 69 so should I be carful in removing the existing cab mounting rubber bushings or can I get new ones made from better rubber than the 69 years were made of. Mine is also a two wheel drive with a 390 motor.

Numbers Dummy do you know of any thing that would hinder a 1" body lift for my truck cab and bed. I did this on a old jeep I had years ago and it was so easy to wash under the cab and clean the frame off after a hunting trip in the muddy east Texas woods. I want to use those synergy type bushing and then I know will come the task of where to find that bolt system ford used if I have to go back with that system.
