Rancho QuickLift fittment problems

I purchased a set of Rancho QuickLifts but after spending all that time to get them in, turns out one of them doesn't fit. The lower strut bolts don't line up. Am I missing something? I tried every orientation possible including switching sides.

My understanding on coil-over setup's...is that you may need to rotate or clock over the lower mounting area to lineup...using large channel lock pliers, etc. With some videos on the Utube that I've watched...they say to make sure lower mounting lines up...if NOT, then you can to rotate and line them up.

I thought about that, but I couldn't get it to budge at all. I'll maybe try it again.

The bad, is that you might have to use a spring compressor tool (to keep spring from expanding), and loosen the top nut...to help make the rotating a little bit easier.

I ran into that with my eibach kit as well. I remember reading that you could twist them with channel lock pliers as well, but like you there was no chance of budging them. I also found that the bolts supplied were barely long enough to engage the nylock washer in the nut.

I loosened the top nut just enough that it was still solidly engaged, and I spun the lower portion around with my pipe wrench. Didn't seem to cause any problems, though I wasn't too thrilled with doing it.

On the eibach kit, I had to remove the factory top hat and lower spring mount to put on the new strut. That was a bit sketchy with the harbor freight spring compressor. I wasn't about to undo it and start all over again. If I remember correctly, I used the spring compressor to take some pressure off the top hat to spin the lower portion around. I marked everything to avoid having to do this, but I must have messed it up somehow. The passenger side went on no problem.

How do you like the Rancho's? I am thinking of going this route but can't find much information/reviews on them.

The eibach kit is very similar and similarly priced to the bilsteins. I went that route myself and have a similar review. Better ride, firm but not stiff. Functions well offroad as well.

Can you guys give me the part numbers? Do you all do front and rear? I need to tow a dump trailer so I need to maintain a bit of a rake
