Borg Warner 4407
The transfer case I’m swapping into my 1990 f250 doesn’t have a driveshaft with it and the 4407 has a companion flange on it I was gonna order a flange and press it onto my u joint does anyone have a part number for driveshaft side flange ordered one ended up being the wrong part |
I can look tonight when I get home. Have one sitting in my shop getting a zf5 sandwiched between it and the 351.
you are looking for the yoke that bolts onto the output flange of the 4407 correct? |
Yea axactly what I’m lookin for like this |
All i can find on it is a partial. F6TW-AA
it should read F6TW-_ _ _ _ -AA to follow ford nomenclature. driveshaft yoke reads F5TC-6004 https://www.supermotors.net/getfile/...019_181532.jpg |
Thanks lol I’ll keep lookin it’s a good start though |
Let me rephrase that. F6TW-AA was directly stamped into it. There were no spaces. So find the four digit part number for that part and add f6tw to the front and AA to the back.
what was the part number of your wrong piece? keep in mind that the bw4407 was only available in 96 and 97 models. It's a stout unit, and very under- talked about on many ford forums, probably due to their short span and only on HD trucks |
