Lone fuel system connector

So I am trying to clear all of the loose wires and this one has me stumped. It is apart of the fuel system but I have yet to find any diagrams telling me what it is, or even acknowledging that it exist.

The black line is the ground.

The red/yellow is to the fuse box.

The tan/green goes to the computer

Then a new Tan/green wire from the computer to (splits) fuel pump relay and EEC test thing.

I have practically everything unnecessary in the cabin already removed and can’t recall this thing or unplugging it from anything. I can’t see any possible thing it could be plugged into and this guy clearly needs a home so where might that be?

Oh yeah: 1990 e150 (conversion) 5.8l

Makes me think of an after market alarm system and the control unit has been removed. Any chance of that? The splice you show certainly isn't Ford's work.

There were tons of connectors and wires that don't show up on any diagrams. I'm a super cautious person when it comes to electrical work and I have been trimming for roughly 2 years now. Granted there was two large moves and a lot of breaks here and there. I'm just trying to get this done now and my patience is wearing thin when it comes to these rogue connectors.

It fires up no problem without anything attached to this bugger so I know it isn't vital... it's just hard to make a decision because so many other things could be tied to this without me knowing.

Hard to tell from the angle, but is that the 2nd code reader plug? Oops appears you ruled that out....
