Electrical or something to look into - Oil Pressure

I have a 2012 FX4 5.0L coyote with 182,000 miiles and I have had some instances lately that make me wonder. My oil pressure guage only goes down (like you shut the truck off) to low....warning messages comes on and then a second later the oil pressure goes back up normal. Im thinking this is more electrical. Its ONLY the oil pressure guage no others..but I think the oil pump is mechanical on this motor I have to investigate. I now have a CEL on and need to get it read. Im wondering if this could be a guage issue or if I may be having oil pressure issues? I have to check my oil level to make sure Im full. I have no low oil level light or anything but just to be sure. It does not seem to happen during any specific instances like when slow speed or stop or anything its totally random. All other guages are normal;engine temp is "normal" and not any higher than usual as I know that can be a sign of bad oil pump.

Like I say tonight I will check my oil levels as I have notice lately I think I may have developed an oil leak but I want to make sure I may not be truly having oil pressure issues?!

Thanks for any help advise in advance

Could also be the oil pressure sensor.

thats what im thinking more than anything but hoping someone might have some experience with it. Thank you for the input.

ok figured it out..helps to have proper amount of oil in there to have pressure. I added like 3 quarts...shes has developed an oil leak I dont knw where it is yet I have to look. but oil all sprayed under carraige.

It must only leak when running as I dont have oil spots under where I park!!!!! so much leak only when driving. what areas are notorious on these motors for oil leaks.

Gotta get under her and clean it up as oil all over and see if I can see where its coming from to fix it!!!!!!!!
