User Tagging, as You Imagined It
 

Hi folks.

We've got user tagging working as it should have been in the first place. Some of you are already familiar with the pretty inconvenient method of using the [utag] BBCode to tag users, but we've made some definitive improvements.

Now you can tag users simply by using the @ symbol, as the digital kingdom intended. Using the @ symbol and starting to type out another user's username will bring up a drop-down menu for you to choose the username from, on both desktop and mobile devices.

I'm going to tag @IB Tim here as an example.

If you are tagged by another user, you will receive a PM with a link to the post you've been tagged in, so you can easily join in on the conversation (or ignore it) as you see fit. However, you will have need to have your PM alerts enabled in the User CP > Options menu for user tagging.
