1960 Ford F 100 Power Steering

Hi there,
i just purchased the beautiful old truck in LA and would love to get power steering and perhaps power breaks in it. I wonder if anyone has a recommendation for somewhere to do the work and a rough idea on costs. I don’t have too much spare cash and wonder if it’s a costly job?
appreciate any and all advice,
vic

There are no parts that can be swapped from any other FoMoCo vehicle, so you'll have to buy aftermarket kits. Someone will come along with info on the kits.

One thing about living here in LA LA Land, there are quite a few nice old rides.

Thanks for the reply... hopefully someone will have used the kits and offer their expertise!

I am in South Ga. and I have a 1960 F600 truck I am working on. I am having issues finding parts for mine. Maybe you will have better luck than me.

CPP

CPP has power assist and power steering kits available. Expensive over $1000.

After driving the ‘57 around for the first time this week, i’ve decided on pwr steering, tilt wheel and even a front leaf spring kit to raise the nose up 2” to level off the truck w/o lowering the rear (just want a nice level stance). Found this kit for use with stock column https://www.cmwtrucks.com/product/57...-stock-column/ in addition to the one listed above offered at Summit. And this one for use with aftermarket tilt wheel like i plan on using https://www.cmwtrucks.com/product/57...-dd-rag-joint/.
