5.4 3v whipple 2.3 TPS install problem

I have an 04 F150 5.4 3v and whipple 2.3l amd I think the model is a 140ax. My problem is I’ve been having problems with bogging since I built the engine and installed blower and I remember before with old engine it would surge and I’m thinking it’s been the tps all along. Sometimes while driving and getting up to highway speed it will rev up and I can feel the extra power and then Roma drop and it’s a dog. It’s not the transmission bc I just rebuilt it myself and did the same thing before as now.

I tried to replace the tps a few years ago and the new one that ford sells and auto parts house are a new design and will not fit bc it’s too tall and hits the blower. There’s just not enough clearance and from what I’ve seen ford has changed it again and it’s even taller. Has anyone had this problem and no a way around it besides buying one from a junk yard?

Shawn, I have a similar setup, 2004 with the Whipple. There is an adapter that is used for the GT500 90mm TB upgrade that you might be able to use. It will rotate the TB 15 degrees and may give you enough room for the TPS. However, I have never used the adapter so you will have to do your own research on it.
