1979 inline heater hose connector

I have posted about this in the past but have gotten nowhere. I have been looking for a heater hose connector for my 79 300 l6 but can only find them for 80's and 90's. People say the thread size is different so is there a way to use a thermostat housing off of an 80's 300 on mine? If so what would have to be done to make it work?

Uh huh, most people haven't a clue, because how would they know without the part number?

Didn't you ask this question recently? Edit: See post #2 in your other thread.

If so, I gave you the part number (E2TZ-18599-A replaced D9TZ-18599-A), applications (1979/89) and posted the parts catalog pic of the little darlin.

I just looked in my 1990/2001 catalog, add 1990/96 F150/350 & Bronco 300 I-6 to the previous applications.

Most members of this and other forums have no Ford truck parts catalogs, so how the hell would they know diddly-do? Ridiculous!
