Do you have another vehicle with you while traveling that you can utilize to get more hose?

I want to say it is 3/8" ID, but not sure... might be 5/16"...

Where are you at right now?

If I were you, I would just try to get to a safe spot and then get a piece of that hose off, then get to a parts store to size it up to a new piece of diesel safe fuel line and then a double barb fitting with fuel injector line clamps or hose clamps on each end. This is more of a bush fix/emergency fix, but it will get you back on the road so that you can fix it for good when you are not on the side of the road.

Barbed fitting picture for reference.

EDIT: It is difficult to see the hole in the picture, but I have circled where I think it might be. If that is the case, you may be able to simply cut the line at that point and re-attach it to the hard line.

You can see in the background the old quick connect fuel lines.
after reading the net I believe the one your leaking from is the 3/8 and the smaller one is 5/16.

Was that a "factory" installed piece? Them using 2 worm clamps to attavh to the "feed" hardline to bowl...

That looks like it used to be the quick disconnect hoses but have been customized to what you see now. I believe that Z31 has the sizes right and it is tight up in there. If those are formerly quick disconnect hoses the other end of that should be on top of the frame in through the fender well.
