Hi Kwbaum, welcome to FTE :-X25. I think that script tailgate would be worth a few bucks.

Welcome to the forum! Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. Based on the hood and header trim, and other identifying marks, it appears the truck is a '52 F-1. It also looks like it's already been parted out, and what's left is in pretty sorry shape. The level of interest from the folks here, including me, would depend on location and what you think it's worth. It would take some serious effort to unearth and exhume it from its resting place. Washington is a big place, and from the looks of the shrubbery I'm guessing west side. It certainly doesn't resemble my neighborhood. ;)

The FORD letters on the upper grill panel signifies it to be a '52 . The wide joint of the lower fender extension panel determine to be a 1/2 ton . It appears a V8 was transplanted into at some time as the emblem on the nose panel of the hood is a 6 cyl emblem .Also it was a 5 star extra cab w/ the options as I see some interior door panels & 5* extra cab side hood moldings but no bright metal windshield molding unless it left with the hood molding .Not much good on that rusted relic . If you could remove the speaker trim & door panels for a better pic maybe I would be interested in them .

I think that old truck picked a fine resting place, Islands are beautiful this time of year. Looks mighty rough. let the blackberrys grow back over RIP

The 6 cylinder emblem on the nose of the hood might be of use to someone. It was a one year only piece and they are not reproduced. The nose piece looks to be OK also.

I hate to say it. But that looks almost like you would have to pay someone to take it.

Cool pictures. I would say the guys are correct, it's probably worth less than zero in it's current location.
Have you ever tried to extract anything from a blackberry bush. Blackberries are worth it, but not much else. Although I just pulled out a Dana 60 from a blackberry bush, but I had a forklift to pull it out. So, if you have a forklift and want to drag it out and see it closer, but it is probably worth more as scrap....boy I sure hate saying that. |
