Do the 15-16's have CAC failures
Is this a problem on the 15-16 models or just the 11-14? Just need to know if I need to be prepared. I had CAC issues on my 06 blowing the hose off when towing and I don't want to do side of the road repairs on my 16.

Yes, all models. Also it is a problem (will be a problem) for 17s and 18s. I haven't upgraded mine yet but I plan on it.

I have 60,000 on mine and I see no problem with mine. I tow all the time. 30,000 miles so far 34' 5th wheel

Mine has been fine, but I do have a backup just in case.

I've only had this truck for a couple months. My son works at a local diesel shop and looked it over when I got it. He told me it's about to fail. I carried a band clamp with me just in case. Dealer replaced it free of charge under factory warranty. It has 44,000 miles on it. It's a good idea to just replace if you see signs. Ford usually covers it. It's no fun to be hooked up to a camper and blow one. I have seen that! https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/i.../happy0161.gif

Folks have reported failures in the upper 20s while some make it over 100K without. I installed the Rudy's upgrade to avoid the issue. Even the latest models still have the same cheap hose that has been failing since the 2011 model year.

x2 like SkiSmuggs. I installed the Rudy's kit as well for insurance. Didn't want to wait for the failure on the side of the road.

Bought the Rudy's kit today. I'll probably keep the stock setup in the truck just in case something goes wrong.

I've got 80,000 miles on my 2015 without any issue. I wonder how many of these blowouts were caused by excess boost pressure from tunes and other such modifications. I know one of the things they love to do is remove the boost limiter so they can get over 25lb of boost. I've never seen mine go above that level being stock all the way.

Is this the only piping that is known for failure ?
