Homelink with community gate
Has anyone been able to setup their trucks to work with a community gate? The only way we can do it as residents is with the “remote copy” way... Wife’s Tesla worked great but I cannot get it to work on the truck. |
I got my F250 2017 Platinum to program our community gate. Really nice not to have a "clicker" on the visor.
I had to use the "clicker" held close to the buttons on the visor to get it to program. Make sure that you are in the "accessory" mode to program - for keyless models; press start with your foot off the brake pedal. I had to hold the "clicker" button for a while (15-20 sec I think). I also got my wife's BMW programed the same way, but have been unable to get my 2008 Corvette to program. It is unfortunate that it is so difficult to program these things. Jim |
I got mine to work with the community gate. Just don’t remember how. But it took me a few tries. |
I know this is an older post, but I cannot get the community gate and my garage doors to program on Homelink at the same time. If I program one, the other won’t take. If I erase all with the two outside buttons, and then do the other one first, it will take. But then I can’t get the second one done. I’ve spent about two hours on this! I know, first world problems.... |
Yes I finally got mine to program with my community gate, but it did take me 3 tries with the clicker. I don't think I was holding it down long enough the first 2 times.
