Off-Centered Axle w/ No Lift

I've had my Super Duty for a couple weeks now and I just noticed that the front axle is off-centered. I have done no modifications to the truck whatsoever. I know this is a common consequence of leveling or lifting a truck, but should it be off-centered from the factory? All of the adjustable trackbars that I have seen on the market are for lifted trucks and don't work at stock height.

Driver Side Stick-Out

Do you have snow plow prep or heavy service front suspension? I know they set a little higher. I wonder if they use all the same track bar for all the trucks 250-550 and the difference in night causes the shift. Just a guess.

And you need that in Miami Why?

I too have the SP package on my totally stock F350 KR and my axle sticks out the driver side exactly like yours!

Haha. Good question. I bought the truck out of state and it was already equipped with the package.

Makes sense as the SP only adds higher rated (thereby taller) springs and nothing else. The truck is pushed up away from the axle, the track bar angle is increase, and pulls the axle to one side.

Any theories on the easiest fix for this? Adjustable track bar? Is there one that adjusts down that much (I’ve read the Carli will push you out the other side before 3” I’d lift)?

Maybe try the BDS 2 inch track bar bracket. Or....swap your 6000lb springs for my 5600lb springs....

I have had the snow plow pkg for 13 trucks. I do not believe it raises the front. Except on gas trucks.

My .02

Don’t look at your back ones... odds are the passenger side sticks out more to. I know mine does.

Bigblock17 06-19-2018 07:31 AM

Does the back of the cab and bed lineup perfect? Or is one side out more than the other? On my truck there off.

I have basically the same truck as MID but mine appears to be pretty symmetrical. Kind of looks like the photos were taken at different angles maybe.

several easy ways to see if the axle is off center

Im not an expert photographer, but believe me there is a difference between the two. I have an appointment with Ford service on Thursday so I’ll see what they say.
