No One Cares that it is June.

Not one single person, even me.

Yeah...not so much. Yet, here we are.

It doesn't really feel like June yet. Heard we have some heat coming next week. Just got my replacement exterior mirror for my F150 in the mail last night. Been in and out of the garage a zillion times and a couple weeks ago I caught the mirror on the side of the garage on the way out and broke it.

Early June has felt much more like early May. Hope you guys have a good weekend. Sorry to hear about the mirror. Self inflicted damage is always the worst!

Happy Monday! Everyday starts out with clouds latley....makes you not want to do anything....of course thats usually the feeling on monday morning anyway! Had a nice cv axle failure after only having it 30 days! see my other post.....axle failed and allowed companion flange to walk its way out of the side of the front differential and drain most the gear oil out of it! Now i gotta go after auto parts place to warranty the cv axle! Fun Fun!

I've been lucky and haven't had any problems with CV front axles in any of my trucks. The old TTB Explorer and Bronco I had both had to be worked on at different times, but I had lifted both and wheeled them pretty hard. I've had to rebuild a couple front straight axles, but that was the F250 and Jeeps that were worked hard off road.
Got my mirrors installed over the weekend. They came with puddle lamps when the stock ones didn't so I didn't expect the lamps to work, but these f150s must be wired the same since I now have puddle lamps. These mirrors are also heated so it will be interesting if I upgraded to heated mirrors also.

There are a lot of features in these trucks that are plug and play. My 2010 and my new truck didn't/don't have a trailer brake controller, but the wiring is there for it. I just have to buy the factory controller and plug it in the factory location.

It's June and only the kids care 'cause schools almost out! lol

Yeah, one of my co-workers recently switched over to Ram and it's amazing how many options are plug and play. He just installed a trailer brake controller and his setup is so sweet. The controls are in the dash and interact with the information display. His has all kinds of options from braking power, to delay of applying, and size of trailer. A far cry from the box attached to the lower dash and one little red led when you hit the brakes.

I emptied my catch can for the first time since installation about 2500 miles ago. Now I know why my mileage has increased and it seems to be a little peppier. It doesn't have this going into the combustion chamber.
