Rear seat bracket
I have a 78 bronco that has the rear seat and the seat latch in the back. But it didn’t come with any front pivot brackets or the pins. I do have the torsion bar also. Does anyone know where I can get a set of these? Will any from 80-96 fit also? Thanks |
I have read that the 78-96 uses the same rear seat brackets and pins.
Don't think there are new ones being produced. I've noticed that sellers on CL usually have a hard time selling rear seats. Might be able to pick up one on the cheap or try a wrecking yard. Be prepared though, the bolts are usually a bugger to get out unless it has been done recently or was reassembled with anti-seize. |
This may not be exactly the easiest option, but I found a great complete backseat from a salvage yard that I found on Hollanderparts.com. I think I picked up the seat with all mounting hardware for about $75. If you are not familiar with it, I like it better than car-parts.com because many of the vehicles have pics so you can see if the car has other items you may need. Good luck.
