New Distributor needed

Hello,

I have a 1987 F150 4.9L with a manual transmission While removing my distributor cap I snapped off both of the screws that hold the cap down. At this point I think I just want to buy a new distributor. Can anybody give me some suggestions for some good replacement brands?

Thank you.

There are a lot on ebay for your truck. One brand that I know nothing about but they have sold over 300 of them for about 60.00 shipped. I have used cardone and Spectra parts and both have been good but no experience with their distributors. Both brands are on there also. A replacement cap will be about 25 to 30 dollars so a gamble for the 60 dollar distributor complete and shipped wouldn't be much of a gamble. Sandy

I am running MSD Pro billet distributors in both my pickup and Bronco. I believe they are still US made while other models are now made overseas.
