Lift kit

Could this work? I cut out the center section which is good to go... but I still need about 1.5 more inches of lift to go with it.. What if I cut the ends off flush and drilled the hole for the tie bolt (centered of course)... and then put the whole thing together with the existing spring pack? each spring plate is about 5/16 wich would add another 1.25 roughly if I used all 4. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...21e8463ba3.jpg

Do you have a lift on there now, or are you just looking to add to the factory set up?

Some companies do sell mini spring packs as a lift or leveling kit, so it's not unheard of. You just need to make sure you get new, longer U-bolts for the new set up.

I replaced the stock front springs with the ones that add 2 inches of lift. But I still need to level up the front because the rear has an additional 3 inches when I did the front 2 in lift springs.

If it's arched front springs, or a different built spring to provide the original lift, then the DIY mini spring pack should work fine (with new U-bolts). If the new springs got their lift by adding a mini spring pack under regular springs, I'd be worried about stacking them and instead just look into some drop brackets for the springs.

The front springs are the pro comp 22210 which provide stock + 2 inches. It's just the leafs and no blocks right now.

Looks fine to add the mini spring pack to. Don't forget the longer shocks and to keep an eye on brake lines in case they need to be lengthened.

You plan on running 33s or 35s? And if I remember correctly, you drive on the beach a lot down at the outer banks right? The kit that you're fabbing up should work no problem. I'll post a few pics of what setup I have and how my truck sits.

Here’s how it sits now on 305/70/16 and stock wheels.

Here’s how it currently sits on stock wheels and 305/70/16

And this is the suspension setup. X-Code springs with one mini-spring. I plan on adding another mini spring as it sits a little too far down in the front for my taste.

Here’s a better pic of how it sits. First pic isn’t exactly flat ground lol

So i just measured the lengths i can cut .. comes out to:
2 plates at 12 inches long
2 plates at 14 inches long
2 plates at 24 inches long

should add approximately 2.5 inches in height. Will level up nice..

good thing I have a drill press cuz that's some tough spring steel...
