Fox 2.0 Udpate

Figures- I have my new shocks now and ready to install, then read that Fox was coming out with new valving in the 2.0 and the steering stabilizer.

I spoke with them about an hour ago and while he did indicate new valving has been worked on, there was no release date for either the shocks or stab. Went on to say that even if there was a change, it would be very small. Now, I'm not sure if that's BS or not, but it did make me feel better about installing VS returning the gear. Additionally he did mention to look for a urethane "bump stop" on the stabilizer as some of the old units had this and there was a change to that model (standard stabilizer). ,,,checking that when I get home.

Wanted to pass along.

I wouldn't worry. I brought up the fact that valving should change for these trucks and everyone here thought that was BS. But in reality, the weight of these trucks haven't changed that much, the rear end might be a little lighter, I honestly doubt you'd be able to tell a seat of the pants difference. You can always customize the valving with a new shim stack anyways.

I installed BDS Fox 2.0 shocks valved for the '17's. A couple of weeks ago I installed the Fox single steering stabilizer. Both made a noticeable improvement.
Here is the link to get the BDS shocks if you don't want to wait for Fox to update theirs:

The stabilizer is a Fox product, see this link:

Thanks. I hate second guessing crap like this. Install a few day away, then tire/wheel.
