Flea Market find - 1968 F350 Flareside

Hi guys, I usually hang out on the 48 - 56 site but while at a flea market today I saw this truck. Thought it was cool so I thought I would share it with you. Very good original shape. Sorry I do not know more that what is on the sign.Do you think the price is a little high. at $15000? Then again what isn't these days:-X04

cool looking truck. if that,s factory paint. that truck lived in a barn or shed all of it,s life. $15 k imo. is way to much for that truck. i know that some people will not agree with me , but that,s their right to.

nice truck but 15k is wayyyy to high

I would agree that $15k is too much. However, this has the rare "Manuel steering" option, as per the sign. The extra dollars go toward Manuel's salary. Manuel doesn't work for free!

The transmission is also Manuel's. And: Ford = Flareside, a Stepside is a Chevrolet. :(

$15,000 sounds like a lot, but that truck looks darn good for it's age. I bet you make a cash offer of $8,000 and see his reaction. Money talks and ship happens.

All kidding aside, it is a very cool truck. Can't be many similar ones in that condition with that low miles. Definitely worth more than $8k, but quite a bit less than the ask. $10k would be more like it, IMO.

Freightrain 03-05-2018 02:36 PM

Look what guys are "asking" for ragged out 1/2 tons. This is a very usable, roadworthy truck. Yes, 15K is way steep, but something under 10K would be reasonable.

Manuel, the fireman, needs paid because it is tough raising two sons(Jose and Hose B) on a meager salary.

The add says "Have original split rims". The ones on the Truck are good.

Thipdar 03-05-2018 06:56 PM

$15K is about what I dumped into my second 1970 F250 when it was a basket case.

I bet if you offered $8K they'd whine and moan.

The claim to 34,000 miles bothers me.

GaryKip 03-06-2018 05:48 AM

Isn't that a "Ranch" or "Rancher Special" with the cattle cage on the back? Still, it's not worth $15K.

Ah, didn't read the fine print.

I would have to poke around and see how clean it actually is and is the rubber pads on the pedals worn like 34K or 134K miles? Steering wheel worn? Seat?
