Tuff Skin - Spray In Bed Liner Decision
Does anyone have experience with Tuff Skin brand bed liner?
I recently purchased a 97 F-250. The 8' box is thrashed. It had a torn up drop-in liner. It had screws holding it down on the rails, some of which I had to cut off. It had old rusted, yet loose bolts for a gooseneck mount in the bed bottom that I also had to cut out. It has a couple holes here and there through the metal in the bed and wheel wells. So, before the rust appears - amazingly there is none - I am going to go with a spray in. Mainly, I intend to haul my bike with the loading ramps, and a couple beach cruiser bicycles, semi-regularly in the summer for day/weekend trips. Other than that, it’s my daily. There's a place close to me that uses Tuff Skin. From their site... "Bullet Liner Sprayed-In Bedliner by Tuff Skin Light Weight, Non Skid Polyurethane Impervious to Climate Change Bonds Permanently to Truck Bed Superior UV Resistance Excellent Gloss Retention Sound and Vibration Dampening Prevents Rust and Corrosion Scratch, Scuff and Puncture Resistant Lifetime Warranty Satisfaction Guaranteed" They charge $625 over the rails and have a $50 coupon. So $575 plus tax. Am I overthinking this? |
Not me, I am sold on the BedRug, best idea ever.

Thanks for the replies fellas,
I am actually going best of both worlds. Upon further inspection there were a few small holes in the bed bottom and some tear holes on the wheel wells. so I decided to sand smooth and spray. in addition, I am going to go double protection with the BedRug. cheers! |
