Is this Brake Drum Useable??

1 Attachment(s)
This is off the rear of my 68 F-600. I'm in the middle of doing rear wheel cylinders, brake shoes and springs/hardware. Also doing the rear wheel bearings while I'm there. Looks like it's been pretty hot.... is it still usable?

Also, i was able to coax NAPA into getting all the parts except the axle seals and two gaskets that sandwich them. Any idea where it get these? The axle is an Eaton model 13802 Two Speed Rear Axle / 6.33/8.81 / 15,000 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity

Thanks in advance.

I think you'd need to get that cut to the point where the cracks are gone. If they're too deep, it's trash.

My opinion. Others may differ }>

Using the drums as-is for now. Only local shop that could turn them said the lathe would most likely tear out big chunks and by they time you cut the cracks out, it would be too thin. They suggested just using as is, especially being on the rear.

I did find the axle seals. Here is the NAPA number if it helps anyone. Comes with the seal and both gaskets.
FORD PART: B4TZ-1001-A is the gasket only. (thanks to numberdummy posted in another thread)
NAPA 23870 comes with both gaskets and the seal. Might help someone in the future. Thanks.
