no heat or air thur defroster
 

Like the title says I dont get any heat thur the defroster or floor vents. Read some that says it mifgt be a "mod door" . one site I read says it is elec. I thought most fords used vacuum operation? Is it on the pss side under dash like the rest of the system? What other things can I check to see what the issues is. Thanks

As far as I know in 2007 it's still vacuum controlled. There is one vacuum actuator that controls the defrost and heat airflow so I would suspect that actuator as being the problem.

The mode door actuator on an 07 Expedition is electrical. '06 appears to be the last year for vacuum-operated HVAC actuators on the Expy.

The actuator is on the driver's side, up above and inboard from the accelerator.
