Slide in camper and trailer hauling

I have a 97 F250 HD. It’s got the 5.8 gas motor. As far as I can tell it can haul about 2500 pounds in the bed. So my question is if I have a slide in camper that weighs in at about 2300 pounds how much would I be able to tow behind the truck?

Probably zero. Your numbers leave you 100 lbs for cargo. Once you (the driver) gets in the vehicle you're overweight, unless you're a very petite woman.

Assuming that 2300 pounds is dry you are probably over weight already once you store some items in their plus passenger/s.
What are you trying to tow?
