2017 F250 XLT full interior swap with 2017 F250 Platinum
 

my buddy is parting out a 2017 f250 platinum and i am wanting to do a complete interior swap with my 2017 F250 XLT. has anyone done this? will all of the body control functions and wiring harness be the same? any information will be helpful. thank you.

I just swapped out my jump seat console to a flow through console, there was one plug on the console that we could not find a place on the truck to plug it in. I believe it works the 12 volt outlets in the console. What you may find is you don't have all the plugs on the truck to match up to the equipment you're putting in, so you might not have all the goodies working but if the price is right go for it.

Bcm may be different between the trucks and your xlt may not run everything extra in the Platinum. You could probably take that out of the platinum too...you may need to pull harnesses out of the plat too.

with all the wiring and some Forscan help you can probably get everything to work... sounds like a pretty intense task.
