What's the door tag say?

Hookedsouthernstyle 01-15-2018 03:32 PM

I know the suspension in front has been modified. There are 3 leafs as opposed to 2. Uncertain on rear.

Nicmike 01-15-2018 03:33 PM

That appears to be a stock rear leaf. Measurement from middle of wheel to the top of the fender well?

Hookedsouthernstyle 01-15-2018 03:37 PM

24 1/2 front
24 1/8 rear

Nicmike 01-15-2018 03:48 PM

That is a stock rear measurement. Stock on front would be 22.5-23"

Thanks Nicmike. You asked about door panel. Are there numbers there that should match numbers on picture? Not certain how to read/ decipher door panel.

Your VIN plate and build details in the door. It has all the "vitals" of your truck.

This one...see the spring data in the lower right corner? DDFF

Hooked, your EX should have DG under the "SPR" on the door sticker, all PSD EXs came with D code front springs (I know yours are modded) and ALL EXs came with rear G code springs, which it appears that you still have. :-X22

The vin shows it to be a 2007 Super Cab F250. The rear spring is what is known as an F code (334/777 lbs/in), fronts are coil springs, ~470 lbs/in

That pic was an example for him so he would know what he is looking for, Rob. That door sticker is off the donor of my '07 axles.

10-4. WE3ZS, thanks
I've seen threads where guys will say given so-and-so reps what does that mean why do they do it and how do you do it?

Reps are basically "Thank you" points that you can give to other members for a post that gave you a good laugh, helped with an issue you were having, part numbers, or any other type of input that you would typically say thanks for and give a handshake if in person. These Reps are represented by the little green dots shown in the upper right corner of a members posts. You can see your most recent Reps received, and the included comments by clicking the "User CP" link at the top menu bar.
My iPad is running an old OS and doesn't always allow me to include a message with a Rep, but I'll try to Rep you so you can see how it works.
To give Reps just click on the little "scale" icon at the top right of a post that you want to say thanks for. A window should open for you to add a comment.
