2018 f150 underseat storage

hi all.

Over the holiday my dad was in town with his new 18 f150. It is the screw lariat fairly well loaded. We were looking around and I noticed that it didn’t have the flip up storage under the rear seat like my super duty. I was really surprised.

I have ave been doing some looking and can’t find mention of that option anywhere for the f150. Is it only available on the super duty? Could it be added since they share the same cab now?
It is a really slick setup and he would prefer it to a Tuffy box or du-ha.

I was was really impressed with the 3.5. Thing rips.

For some reason that is not an option on the F150, even though the cab and seats are the same. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit.

Thanks for the reply. If I can find the parts maybe we will see if it can.

I've been researching that very subject. I just traded a 2017 Super Duty Platinum FX4. Had I known the same under-seat storage wasn't available in the 2018 F-150 I would took the one out of the 2017 SD. I haven't even been able to find a part number yet. https://www.ford-trucks.com/g/picture/7357361

The SuperDuty flip up storage will not fit because it`s bolted to the floor and the F150`s do not have these bolt holes.

Yes, they do share the same cab but they also have minor/unique differences.

This has been confirmed on another Forum.

Thanks guys for saving me the research.

We are just gonna go with the tuffy box.

Ford should put this in the F150. I really like mine and it is clever and slick.

You seem to indicate they saved you the research and you are going to go order that box.......but then you say you really like it......so you already have it.

Is my reading comprehension bad or are you telling us you are going to get something you already have and like?

My understanding is that he has or recently had a '17 Super Duty and really likes the underseat storage option.

The OP has a superduty and his father has a F150.

I went back and read it again, now it makes sense. I didn't realize he was talking about 2 different trucks.

I've see the SD storage bin, it IS really slick. I'd love to have it in my F150.

The DU-HA is an option, but I really don't like that it says DU-HA prominently on the side. The Husky looks nice, but doesn't appear to offer as much storage space in the pictures I've seen. Neither of these options allow you to easily flip up a seat to use a larger section of the floor without having to figure out somewhere to put the storage box...Ford did it right by allowing it to fold down onto the floor.

I have the Du-ha bin on my 2016 F150. It's a very nice add on.

The Ford Super Duty is both. It’s really slick!

It is my understanding that the 150-250 cabs were different until 2018. Been that way since 97. My fleet guy said the 150 was actually bigger for many years. Not me sayin' I don't know. He says they are now the same basic structure. Please don't beat me up on what he's sayin.....

I'm interested in the f250 storage bin as well, gonna have to stop by dealership and see if it's possible to attach to seat instead of floor. I do like the way it folds down as well.
