Pull Door to get the Bench Seat out?
Hi!
Do I need to pull one Door to get my Bench Seat out of the Cab? (F150-77 Regular Cab) Thanks! |
No. But you will need a friend.
|
Should not have too I pulled my seat out to have it redone and I have a 73 F-250 no problems whatsoever!
|
Good! Thanks a lot guys!

I removed the standard bench and put what I call bench buckets out of an '84 in (significantly taller back) without removing a door in my 74 regular cab. My problem was available help...........she didn't so much as %%tch about it but her pessimistic attitude about it fitting as she held the other end was a real buzz kill..........pick your help with that in mind.........just say'n.

Its easier to take the two hinge bolts out an remove the back of seat and then the bottom seat
|
Thanks!

Why not just fold the back forward? If you put a towel under the bracket, and drag it out of the passenger side, you wont be fighting the steering wheel.
|
i just pulled mine out by myself by putting a 30" long piece of 2x6 lumber under the driver side bracket so it could slide as i pulled it out the passenger side. Mine is a Standard, i have the shifter pulled out as well, but i dont think it would interfere much anyway. I let it fall to the ground and stood it up on end. Im going to wait for help to put it back in though!
