2016 f250 fx4 Fox 2.5 dsc External reservoir shocks

I have installed the front and the rear shocks as instructions state. The rears no problem. The front reservoir mounted with the dimensions given are still rubbing the inside of the tire when turned to max. The way the fittings were tightened on the shock and the reservoir doesnt allow me to mount the reservoir with the adjuster pointing UP. Is it going to effect anything if I loosen the fittings in order to position the external reservoir with the adjuster pointing up? I believe this will allow me to obtain full range of steering with out a tire rubbing the hose or external reservoir.

Are you running aftermarket wheels with offsets different than stock, or wider tires?

I was running a twin Fox 2.0 shock set on a F350 with a 6 inch lift. Ride was nice. I rebuilt them once. I was contemplating moving the lift to my F350 Dually. Just haven’t really wanted to but I may.
