Replacement spring dimentions
Looking for front and rear spring interchange info for my 65 F100 4wd with the 5600 GVW package. I'm considering rebuilding them or replacing them. I came across this chart online and noticed they didn't have a listing for my rig. Is my particular rig a bit different or a change over year? I don't believe my springs are sagging at all but would like to clean them up and install new bushings.

https://www.generalspringkc.com/Leaf...972_s/1863.htm C5TZ-5310-B .. 6 Leaf Front Spring - 1,200 lbs. load rate / 2 1/2" wide / 27 5/16" >> eye bolt < < 24.00" / 1 5/16" distance between the upper & lower leaf springs / Obsolete ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1965/66 F250 4WD: C5TZ-5310-C .. 6 Leaf Front Spring - 1,350 lbs. load rate / 2 1/2" wide / 27 5/16" > > eye bolt < < 24.00" / 2.00" distance between the upper & lower leaf springs / Obsolete These F250 Springs are essentially the same, but the leafs are thicker, due to the load rate and the distance between the leaf springs being different. I'll list the rear springs...tomorrow. |
Thanks Bill!

Can't help with the spring specs, but...
Benz Spring or Oregon Spring, both in Portland, Oregon, can rebuild your springs to factory specs or they can build new springs. I have used both over the years and always been pleased with their work. Hope this helps. |
1965 F100 4WD .. TWO different load rate rear springs:
C5TZ-5560-G .. 7 Leaf Rear Spring / 1,450 lbs. load rate / 2 1/4" wide / 24" > > eye bolt < < 28" / 3 5/16" distance between the upper & lower spring leafs / Obsolete C5TZ-5560-H .. 11 Leaf Rear Spring / 1,950 lbs. load rate / Same specs as above except the distance between the upper & lower spring leafs is 3 11/32" / Obsolete 1965/72 F100 2WD rear springs have the same specs, as do 1966/69 F100 4WD, but the number of leafs is different as are the load rates. Spring shops can re-arc your original springs and install new bushings. See post #4. |
Thanks again ND and Rodger. I'll be looking into Benz and Oregon spring to see what they offer.
