ceiling height question

I have been thinking of trading in my jayco octane 273 sl for a 5th wheel. Looked at a raptor the other day. I want to stay under 40' if I can. Will be pulling with SRW. I cant seem to find any ceiling heights listed by any manufacturer. I'm 6'5" and cant stand up straight in bedroom of the ones I've looked at . At least with shoes on. In sock feet my head just grazes the ceiling, but hits any vents or anything that sticks down. And top of door jamb. Shower is super tight, and I would have to stick my head up into a skylight to stand up straight. Question is, are there any 5ers that have more bedroom ceiling height than others?

You MAY be screwed!!!! The outside height of my Raptor is right at 13'6" to the top of the front AC unit, which is max legal height in most states. I don't know how they could make more height and keep it legal.

Yeah, well. I guess I get the idea. But just an inch or two would make a big difference. I like most everything about the raptor 355 floor plan.. . I guess this next question should be in the "mods" thread, but I wonder if I could take out the small skylight over the shower ,and replace it with a big "bubble" one if its available. That would be the same rectangular size of the whole shower. Other thing is.. I've seen some with two full baths (and shower), but now you're getting into triple axle 45' trailers. Rather not do that with my SRW. And I just dont need that much room. I'll be solo most of the time.

Be room height may be tough at your height. As Don pointed out there's just nowhere to go height-wise. Bathroom is a different story. There are a very small handful of 5th toyhaulers that have the shower on the main frame and not neck. These will get you shower height. But these generally aren't the fancier versions if that's what you're after.

Palomino Puma 351thss and 359thks, KZ sportsman 355th come to mind. But the tradeoff is bedroom height is even lower. I have the 351thss and can just stand up in the bedroom at the foot of the bed with shoes on. If I have a hat on the button hits the ceiling. I'm 5'10". Tons of headroom in the shower though. Everything is a compromise.

I'm 6'8" and can stand up (as long as I don't stretch or extend my neck) in the bedroom of my Grand Design Momentum 350M. Shower is still low but between the seat and the skylight I can make it work. Good luck.

I'm only 5'-10" but find lots of headroom in my Fuzion 371. My nephew is 6'-5" and he had headroom in the bedroom area. Only place I need to watch my head is in the garage area with the retractable beds. Lots of headroom in the shower also with the large skylight.

Thanks, I was looking at this model. I think they said it was new. Looks like the only one I've seen with neo-angel shower. I have that now in my Octane. A big reason I bought that model. Floor plan looks like the raptor 355 which I like. Don't need huge garage. Just enough for two bikes, or bike and 4 wheeler. .....Are the ceiling heights any different in raptor and fuzion? I wouldn't think so, but you never know. Even an inch would help. Other thing I noticed is sitting up in bed with the fuzion might not be to comfortable with the head of the bed against the sloping front nose
