im looking to get a new(to me) rear axle for my old ass IH pickup. so is anyone willing to do me a huge favor? need backing plate to backing plate length, and spring perch to spring pearch( from backing plate to spring perch?)
thanks so much guys, also would you happen to know what u-joint it takes?????
this would be for the f150, figured i should specify lol

You want dimensions for an 8.8?

I got one laying around from a 95 150:

I can give you hub face to hub face (The plates aren't on right now)

I'll give you center of spring to center of spring.

U joints vary from application to application.

Notice flange on pinion.

for an old international, you most likely have 33 inch center to center on the spring perches.
which will limit you to 77 and older F100 pickups with the 9 inch rear.
or a custom made rear.
