moog 844, cooper ht3 review

Just wanted to share my experience with this setup, the 844 springs are the best ~60 bucks I've ever spent. Ride quality is just what I wanted, massive improvement over stock trash springs, and picked up 1.25-1.5" of height. Wish it added more, but couldn't be happier with them overall.

Then, got a set of 265/75/16 of the cooper ht3 and I'd absolutely recommend them for ttb or twin I beam trucks. The solid shoulder rib of the tires are beefy, almost as if specifically designed for any independent front end that is inherently harder on front tires. They're quiet and super smooth, so much that I've been thinking the truck shut off when I'm slowing down. I've had a lot of different tires over the years, I'll be getting these on all my street trucks.

I like the cc844 as well. No longer bottoming out off road, much more stable but not harsh. Add Bilstein and it makes for a great ride. My SCSB went up 1.25" then I added a big washer under the spring to get to 1.5". 2.75 degree camber bushing's got the alignment close enough until I get new tires.

I'm thinking about milling a 1/2" piece of aluminum with a 1/4" steel plate on top of that to bump it another 3/4 before I get it aligned....I maxed out the camber bushings and I still have a little room left to lift and there's about an inch of stud left on the spring mount.

Where did you get your washers?

They were in a bucket at the family's fab shop, no idea where they came from originally. They're huge, and fit perfectly.
