E350 2006 6.0L pcm swap

Hi!

i'm planning to do a big mud van with my e350. Manage to get a F350 6.0L pcm. Swapped it inside the van and could feel the difference. Only downside is I lost my speedo.

managed to find the pcm rely on pin #35 for speedo input, from abs module. The pin #35 is not present on the van's wiring. Managed to get one in the connector, but now I'm wondering where can I tap this wire to get my signal. I know the van's abs module is getting speed from rear diff and both front speed sensor (managed to get info with my snapon computer).

is the pcm pin #35 receiving a square wave signal or constant voltage? The abs module wiring doesn't show any output available for the pcm (other than can).

is somebody managed to deal with that or know what could be a fix for this?

thank you

hey, I know this thread is like 6 years old but can you tell me how you made out with the ecm swap?

For projects like this I always recommend obtaining a Ford EVTM or book of wiring schematics---I wouldn't attempt such a fix without having one on hand. EBay is my go to source for these, either in printed form or on a DVD.
