1996 E 150 Electric or Electronic problem ??

Hi peeps, on leaving Verdun France last week , my Beasts starter motor decided to die on me :'( With a few taps of a hammer I managed to get a further couple hundred miles along my trip.
Drove past a Re build shop :-X22 in Weert NL, after getting the compulsory Limburgse Vlaai cakes https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...d030dcefa8.jpg
Limburgse Vlaai - the best tarts/cakes from The Netherlands

Went back to the revision shop, and they had a starter motor on the shelf :-drink . Now to get a garage to fit it , that was a headache, but here they had a DIY Garage, and they had a bridge available to me :-X06 , 1 hour later I'm underneath. Pulling the dead motor out, fitting the new one and DONE ! :-X22

Then the present problem started - tempreture gauge almost red lining constantly, and when I turn the ventilator fan on the said gauges jumps to the red line :-hair also, when I lower or raise the windows, the tempreture gauge jumps to the red line too.

Anyone here tell me WTF is happening , as I have no effing idea.

Cheers all,

Karl now back at work for more gas tokens.

I'm guessing a bad ground
or
a wire is shorting out form the starter install
again, I'm guessing
