Sounds about right Jim!

Good morning everyone. It's another moronic Monday.

Good morning guys.

We have a scooter for my mom already Randy or I would take you up on that. Hopefully she doesn't need it for a while yet.

Sounds like you may need to wrap it in pool noodles to protect the stuff around it. But hopefully like you said she won't need it.

MisterCMK 07-10-2017 08:39 AM

You sure you don't need one yet Jay?!? Lol

DieselCamper01 07-10-2017 12:28 PM

Some mornings I am not sure Chris.

DieselCamper01 07-10-2017 02:34 PM

Good afternoon guys.

Good afternoon fellas
muggy down here today. Got a bit over an inch of rain last night - thankfully no hail I am aware of..
Dar goes under the knife in the AM for first cataract ... Hoping it all goes smoothly.. The other eye gets done next week..

DieselCamper01 07-10-2017 03:55 PM

Give her our best. The people I know that have done it are very pleased with the results they got.

dlibson 07-10-2017 04:27 PM

Ha, you think it's muggy. Come on down.

Good luck to Dar!

Evening all.

Racer5349 07-10-2017 05:13 PM

Good luck to Dar, Randy. My wife had it done a couple of years ago with good success. For 2k more/eye, they would have used lenses to correct her sight to ditch glasses completely. She didn't go for that, so still needed readers. It was a good choice, two months ago one eye changed enough to require glasses again full time. Maybe she's in a very small minority, IDK.

I know one woman who had a terrible time with one eye and had to have it done a second time.

Still much better odds than the alternative.

Big-Foot 07-10-2017 07:46 PM

Thanks fellas - I'll relay your kind words...

Jim, the Opthamologist we are going through did not recommend the bifocal lenses for her - I guess some astigmatism and something else I don't quite remember.. She's going to get progressive lenses for her glasses with no correction on top, readers on the bottom for her reading and fine needle-work..
