Wouldn’t know about the house yet, supposed to close August 11th if everything works out. Very excited about it, wish it was tomorrow. |
Good evening fellas

Got the King-Queen seat, shaft drive (no oil spots on your bike or clothing from chain oilers) and brakes big enough for a school bus! Got the topper installed today. Took them about an hour and 20 minutes. No test drives either! :-wink The truck rode pretty smooth without any weight in the bed, but with a few hundred pounds worth of topper, I think it rides even smoother... Their sticker was peeled off the back glass about 30 seconds after I snapped the pics.. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...562910656f.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...5d7e803afd.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...357a9fd8ce.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...f08c260807.jpg |

I was surprised to see how much there was for brakes on this thing. I think I need to flush the fluid though and bleed it out, they seem a little bit soft initially but it sure slows down in a hurry! It's high idling again but only when it's hot. I'll have to order all of the rubbers for the carbs and see where that gets me. |

Yeah - I think brake fluid is the most overlooked maintenance item in the auto/cycle industries... I had a high idle situation that was exactly what you mentioned. Carb rubbers to the cyilnder head. They had gotten hard over the years and the removal and reinstalling of the carbs must have put a couple in the wrong location. I had cracks in a couple also but they didn't look like they went all the way through. Replacing them cured the problem for me... |
Decided on this granite for the kitchen.
