Thanks, Randy. OT ran out of things to try a couple of weeks ago, so I'm waiting to see another surgeon down in Plymouth at the beginning of next month. It's settled down to the point where I can type infrequently during the day, but it still gets aggravated quickly.
Still on FTE and other forums every day, but keeping quiet for the moment. :-wink |

Got the call from Toppers & More of South St. Paul yesterday and have a 1PM appointment to have it installed on the F150.
It will have the third brake light as well as a courtesy light that comes on when you open the hatch. The hatch will lock and unlock with the same factory Ford Key Fob. So my question is this - Why is this install supposed to take 2:45? Yes, 2 hours and 45 minutes! |
Probably because they are going to be careful with the truck. And running a wire to the battery. Horsing around with the toppers takes longer than you think to get it right.

You're probably right Chris... I don't want them to rush it on a brand new truck...

And then there is the obligatory "test drive"....LOL

Plus they have to come up with extra reasons to charge you all that money for a topper! So if they get you to think it takes that long to do the install then you will have that warm fuzzy feeling inside when you hand them that big ol check!
