Craigslist "find" in New Jersey

I just stumbled across this ad on Craigslist for a 1955 F100 for $3500. Looks unmolested and could be a good candidate if someone lives close enough to take a closer look. Owner states it sat for 45 years in a garage(for what it's worth!). The only concern is the missing title. Don't know if that means you can get one in New Jersey or not. Without it, it might not be a good candidate. Anyways, just passing it along..

Is that the correct side badge for the hood on a 55 ? Mine is different.

It could be a '54 hood. Or a '54 with '55 grill? Some people don't like the '54 grill for whatever reason.

Looks like a decent buy for $3500. Can't get much truck for that these days especially in the northeast. Hopefully, the 45 years in the garage kept it out of the salt...:)

Note that the title is missing. :-roll

Yea depends on how hard or easy it is to title in jersey. In PA you can forget it

While it isn't impossible in NJ, it is so difficult that it has to be a very rare automobile to go through the hassle.

Later!

Take it to a midwest state, Im sure they're still oldschool enough to be able to do it easily.

I did it here in CA and while it was not picnic, it wasn't the worst experience ever.
